Our planning process is created with the client in mind, first and foremost. It’s important for us to have a consistent process so that each of our clients has the same great experience from initial contact through the creation and maintenance of our client-attorney relationship. While the overall process is the same for every client, it is flexible to accommodate the needs of each of our clients, including upcoming travel or medical procedures.
After you schedule your free Strategy Session, one of our team members will send you a confirmation email with the date, time, and location of your Session as well as some questionnaires for you to complete beforehand. We ask that you return the completed questionnaires prior to the meeting so that we have an adequate amount of time to review prior to meeting with you – we don’t want to waste your time going over the questionnaires during the Strategy Session.
Your Personal Strategy Session
On the day of your Strategy Session, you’ll enter our office and be welcomed by one of our friendly team members who will escort you into our meeting room adorned with a selection of beverages, mints, and chocolates for your enjoyment. Remember, this isn’t supposed to be intimidating, so feel free to indulge a little (or a lot). You’ll be joined by your planning lawyer and your Personal Strategy Session will begin. The Session usually lasts around 60 minutes. This meeting is all about your:

Client Service Plan
After your plan is created and signed, you’ll have a full year following your signing meeting to make any needed changes, minor or major, to your plan. We’ll also be reaching out and touching base throughout the year to make sure all of your assets are designated appropriately and that if you have any additional questions or concerns, you’ll have ample opportunity to make sure they’re addressed. Our goal is to call all of our clients personally at least 1-2 times per year just to say hello and see how things are going – no sales or asks, we just care about you.
You’ll also be invited back to our office for an Annual Review a year after your signing meeting to review your planning documents and discuss any changes that may have happened in the past year. If you have any needed revisions or just aren’t sure about something, it gives us the opportunity to meet with you in person to address anything that has come up over the past year. Of course, if you have questions or concerns prior to that meeting, you’re more than welcome to reach out prior to your meeting. After the first year, when most of the heavy lifting and coordination is being done, we’ll also meet with you every three years for brief check-in meetings to discuss your plan, your wishes, adjustments in law or regulations, or anything that’s changed since your most recent review meeting. These regular check-in meetings are all included in your initial planning fee.
But our Client Service Plan does not stop there. We will also be there for your family if something happens to you to make sure that your plan is carried about according to your wishes and to take the burden off of your family members.
